Hello Kabir, Karishma Kapoor daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor made her debut in the movie Prem Qaidi in 1991, that was a real bomb at the box office. After that she did many movies but they couldn't do much help in her career.

But if you ask me which is my favorite movie starring Karishma Kapoor then that is most definitely Raja Hindustani which was realeased in 1996. that is one of her movies where she really proved that she is a Kapoor. Her performance in Raja Hindustani was outstanding. That movie made her reall noticeable in the eyes of producers and directors. after that she did good movies like Dil To Pagal Hai, Ek Rishta.

My favorite Karishma Kapoor acted movie is Raja Babu, opposite. This was one of their (Govinda/Karishma) paired hit movies.

My favourite song from it is ‘eh eh eh oh oh oh mera dil na thodo’.

Her performance in Zubaidaa is also notable.

The king of Indian filmi scores strikes again! A.R. Rahman has become famous for his balance of East and West, but with Zubeidaa he raises the bar. With more melodies than you can shake a stick at, he creates a lush series of songs that remain ineffably Indian at their core, but which are also fleshed out by Western studio techniques (drum loops, samples, synthesizers) and instruments (guitars). And the eight cuts which comprise the album might be the most memorable of a remarkable career. From "Dheeme Dheeme" to the glorious "So Gaye Hain," there are thick soundscapes for the vocalists, who perform excellently on the material. Although it's fair to say there's no such animal as a bad Rahman composition, this truly takes a quantum leap in its studied blend of sounds and ideas, where Western harmonies in the orchestra are happily juxtaposed with Indian vocals melodies and rhythms for what becomes a sound of real global appeal. If that were the sum total of the disc, it would be ample, but a second CD offers the Hits of A.R. Rahman, seven separate film themes performed live -- many of the tracks also appear on the Live CD issued at the same time by Sony. My Favourite movie of Karisma Kapoor is "jubeidaa".
Zubeidaa is a 2001 film directed by Shyam Benegal and written by Khalid Mohammed. Zubeidaa stars Karisma Kapoor, Rekha, Manoj Bajpai, Surekha Sikri, Rajit Kapoor, Lillete Dubey, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal and Shakti Kapoor.

The film is based on the life on an ill-fated actress, Zubeida, who acted in first Indian talkie, Alam Ara (1931), and was the mother of film critic, Khalid Mohammed, who also wrote film's screenplay.
The film garnered the citation, National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi and won Karishma Kapoor a Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics').
