Sanjay’s first wife is Richa Sharma whom he married in 1987. A year later, the couple had a baby girl, Trishala. Just two months after Trishala's birth, Risha was diagnosed with cancer and the couple separated. Later Richa died of cancer on December 10, 1996.

Dutt married Reha Pillai in 1998 but the marriage did not last too long and the couple divorced in 2005 after spending the last few years apart.

Sanjay dutt recently married 3rd time to Manyanta, in 10th Feb 2008 in mUmbai.
