Well Ankush, it is a million rupees question that every producer wants the answer to, before they prefer to produce their venture. But, in all the goodness of a movie is also more viewer specific as much it is, being on some set parameters and guidelines.

But, as far as me, and as per the guidelines of almost all Movie Critics, the factor that sets the best movie apart from the rest is: its script which should not be entertaining but have to be solid, with substance, impact, binding of storyline and delivery of something good. Direction : A good script alone doesn't do the trick, the director needs to execute the script too in flawless manner to bring out the best impact. Acting, sound, music, production value are some other thing which the good movies have better than the rest.

But, despite all that, to make a movie successful the timing and demand of that time of the viewers is also important. As, even though movie might be real good but if the timing is not right, it would to do justice to its quality in terms of performance. As was the case with Lakshya, being one of the best made movie of modern times on youth failed to do much at the Box-Office due to timing of its release.

Movie which make u feel like imitating the character and utter the dialogues again and again, and also when you get songs on your tongue every now and then and after getting out of the theater if you feel like watching movie again in theater then you can say that movie is best.

Ankush, That depends upon individuals. I have enjoyed some old movies as well as new ones.

In old movies, I enjoy watching Sholay Mother India and so on...

But in today’s new movies there is more than just the old simple way of making movies.
People like Abbas Mustan make some very good movies with Humraaz and Aitraaz. If you comedy then there are a whole lot of new movies coming up these days with Golmaal Hera Pheri in old movies Andaaz Apna Apna.

It rather depends upon individual as to which movies he likes the best and one should always watch those kind of movies. If a person only likes love and romance types of movies then he should never opt for movies which have violence in it. For love romance based movies you can watch Yash Copra’s or Karan Johar’s movies.

All these above mention people have their own type of making movies. So the new genre of movie makers are more profound and a lot more innovative.

Watch the Mr Masand's movie review programme on CCN IBN english news channel. He is a excellent intellectual of reviewing the every upcoming friday new release. He fairly tells the public about the weakness or strong points of the movie, which is going to be released. Actually he post morterm the movie very well before the public to think about to see or not to see the movie.

now-a-days by watching the trailors on tv any one can tell how is the movie bad or good.. becoz these days u cant see any good movie, the one u see are being copied from foreign film so these days no good movies are coming..
