The film was set to be released on June 6, 2008, but is now set to be released some time in October 2008 during Diwali ..........Originally titled Mera Bharat Mahaan (My India is Great), the film title was later changed to Heroes, to avoid making it sound like a patriotic film.[3] The film revolves around a group of students who study film-making together. They have been sent away to film a documentary, and so they go on a road trip. The students are trying to figure out the meaning behind the logo on every passing vehicle, which says, Mera Bharat Mahaan.[4]
Filming began on June 15, 2007.
