Yes it's very easy to take something the wrong way when you are reading it instead of writing it. I have made a few internet friends over the years that I have yet to meet physically but I already totally treasure their friendships. I think it doesn't matter where you make a friend as long as there is respect & honesty in the friendship.

There is no hard and fast rule about it.
Internet friends can become real friend, but care should be taken while making them.

Hi! Murali just ask this question to yourself,If you are true to others,then they sure would be true to you... i am true to my friends,and sure they too are true to me. and It do depend on the type of person to whom you are becoming a friend of.
