PLease apply at the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), it is the pioneer in film making institutes and a premier institute also. It is located in Pune. Most of our older actors and directors are alumni of this institute. There is also the Institute started by Subhash Ghai called Whistling Woods International in Mumbai. Both these institutes will have visiting faculties from the industry to teach you the nuances f the profession which is very helpful.

It's good for taking a decision in directing in films. but before that try to be strong in SPELLING.
