yes, Alok I agree with u, really in this movie all actors have done a great job especially good acting performed by very new actors emraan khan and genelia d'souza. This movie has a very good music too which is composed by A.R Rhemaan.

IT’S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I’VE SEEN a display of such superb supporting performances as the one in Abbas Tyrewala’s Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, so you’ll forgive me if I leave considerations about Imran Khan (Aamir’s nephew, whose launch pad this is) for later. Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan are at their riotous best as dimwit brothers who, for reasons that aren’t quite clear at first (but click together subsequently with a marvellous snap), saunter into a disco on horseback. Freed from the compulsions of mugging under Priyadarshan’s megaphone, Paresh Rawal proves, once again, what an exquisitely subtle comic he can be. As a Rajput warrior slain in a feud, Naseeruddin Shah has himself the kind of high old time he possibly hasn’t had since he wore a crooked hat on the sets of Tridev. And once-familiar faces like Jayant Kripalani and the ever-gorgeous Anooradha Patel dust the clichés off stock characters simply with their welcome presence.

But the most unexpected delight of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is seeing Ratna Pathak Shah (as Savitri, a social worker) commandeer the big screen as if she’s never heard of television. If there’s one line reading I’ll remember by the end of the year, it’s going to be that of Savitri spitting faux venom at her dead husband (played by her real-life husband), who has the unfortunate habit of needling her from within the confines of his portrait frame. “Sirphire, hinsak… mard,” Savitri fumes, frustrated at her spouse’s macho posturings that are eternally at odds with her pacifist leanings, and she saves the full import of her bile for the last bit of name-calling: that he’s unhinged and violent and a… man. Tyrewala develops this squabbling into a joyous running gag, which, thanks to his casting, comes with a delicious hint of gossipy sensation: it’s like getting front-row tickets to embarrassingly private goings-on in the Shah household.

Alok, Agree with you Janne tu is definitely a refreshing movie with, fresh new look.

The idea of the movie is very fresh and innovative of making a movie.

Innovative in terms of 4 friends have narrated the whole movie and still the movie was not confusing, many a time in the movie we have seen when they take the plot in past it gets too confusing.

Aamir and crew made it looked so simple but very innovative to understand and feel the characters, as in our own life.

Loved the movie to the core.

The movie tells the story of Jai and Aditi, who are two amongst a group of college friends. They are especially close, leading everyone to believe they are a couple. When they graduate from college, Aditi's parents invite Jai home to discuss future plans and marriage. Jai and Aditi are shocked and insist that they really don't see each other "that way".

Aditi, quick-tempered and prone to extremities in life, would prefer a strong man, an archetypal 'stud', who'd get into fights to protect her. Jai, on the other hand, is a pacifist, and would rather have a more sweet-tempered girl than Aditi as his better half.

He finds someone just that way during a night out at a club, where he ends up saving the girl (Meghna) from hooligans by fooling them rather than fighting them. Jai and Meghna start dating, much to the chagrin of Aditi, who increasingly finds herself missing the company of her best friend without realising why. Eventually, she starts seeing Sushant, a family friend, who fits the notion of her ideal man.

Jai is overcome with jealousy when Aditi announces her engagement to Sushant. Meghna, who has by now realised Jai's affections for Aditi, calls off their relationship. Meanwhile, Aditi begins to realise the travails of dating someone hot-tempered and prone to getting into fights. Her relationship with Sushant ends violently when she confesses to him her hidden feelings for Jai. They break up, and she decides to go to the US to pursue a film-making course.

Jai gets back at Sushant for hitting Aditi. This only lands him in jail, but owing to a typically crazy turn of events involving his royal cousins from Rajasthan and a horse, he makes it to the airport where, in a nod to Bollywood tradition, he stops Aditi from leaving and confesses his feelings. At the end of the film, the couple, happily married and back from their honeymoon, are received at the airport by their friends and a new admirer of their love story.

The music of this movie is great
