you forgot to mention the details of the file format.

Without knowing the format, it would be tough to give you the details about any file format.

Anyways , there may be some problem with the software.
You may not have the necessary software to run the file.

Well, my friend if you have downloaded the file. and extracted it too, as in rapidshare it is uploaded in distributed format of 100 files each. And 7-8 files makes one file that when combined will give you the actual file having the video.

If you have not downloaded files which in total doesn't come to near to 700 mb, then download the rest of the files.

But, if you have got to the point where you have one file of near to 700mb, then check for the extension of the file, most probably it would be .mpeg, .avi, etc.
Or, it could also be .mkv, if you are not able to play it in conventional players. If that is the case then download vlcplayer by googling vlc player and append rapidshare in the search tag.

And, if there is no extension in the file, then add one from your side preferably .avi, the file will run.

Seshu you've not mentioned the format of the file. You can play any kind of video file on vlc media player. You can download vlc media played from download.com. If the file that you've downloaded is zipped then it must be in .zip or .rar format. You can download winzip for .zip file and winrar for .rar file from download.com. Use this software to extract the file and then use vlc media player to play it.

After downloading the movie from rapidshare first you have to extract the winrar file. After that you should download a media player known as Media Player Classic. This Media Player Classic will run all the format movies.
