Well Shweta , for me the performance of Ravi's is Not so good and not so bad too.

It would have been a bit better.

But overall a good performance.

Any how ,i'm assessing his performance in the picture Santosh Subramaniam.It's a 2008 Tamil musical and romantic film .Jayam Ravi as Santosh and a well-disciplined young man with dreams of achieving something big of his own without the interference of his father hasperformed well ,His histrionic talents are commendable.
