Full name Sanjay Balraj Dutt.Sanjay is son of the stellar couple of Bollywood, Nargis and Sunil Dutt. He came to light with his performance in his 40th flick ‘Saajan’ (1991), for which he received his first Filmfare nomination for the Best Actor in a Lead Role.
His breakthrough role came in Subhash Ghai's ‘Khalnayak’ (1993), which was a big success and gave his career a boost. He received a Filmfare nomination for it, too.

Sanjay's NAAM is the best one in which, he showed hisextraordinary acting talents. Munna bhai is of different genre. In this also sanjay excelled and proved his mettle as an allrounder.

Well Kabir , Sanjay Dutt has acted in many good movies and shown his ability as an actor in number of movies. It is hard to pick just one movie.

Anyways My pick would be "Naam " which gave his career a new boost and "Vaastav" which made him a real superstar.

Naam is released in the year 1986 was and directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
His role in the movie was critically acclaimed and he has done a great job in the movie.

In this movie he has done the role of younger brother of Kumar Gaurav who goes to Dubai with his brother's help.

On reaching there he finds that he was tricked by the travel agent and is forced to work for a gangster, Paresh Rawal.

Because of his criminal activities, he is unable to return back to India for years, and loses contact with his brother and mother.

I think It was the best performance Given by Sanjay Dutt.
When you see the movie you can feel the pain for him.

Hey KABIR beside MUNNABHAI I personaly like SANJAY DATT'S role in ' WAH LIFE HO TO AISI ' where his COMIC ' YAMRAJ' drives fear of death out. Sanjay played senti role in TATHASTU of helpless FATHER which was trully HEART-TOUCHING .

Shaadi No.1 (translated: Marriage No.1)is an Indian film released in November, 2005. The film directed by David Dhawan stars Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Sharman Joshi, Ayesha Takia, Soha Ali Khan, Esha Deol, Riya Sen, Aarti Chhabria, Sophie Chaudhary, Satish Shah and Rajpal Yadav. The plot is said to be inspired from the Kannada movie "Kothigalu Sir Kothigalu" starring Ramesh Arvind.

Synopsis
Raj (Fardeen Khan), Veer (Zayed Khan) and Aryan (Sharman Joshi) are unhappy in the respective marriages. Their wives Bhavana (Ayesha Takia), Diya (Esha Deol) and Sonia (Soha Ali Khan) are busy with their everyday lives and their husbands feel ignored by them. Bhavana is constantly occupied with religion, Diya wants to be an actress whilst Sonia is work obsessed.

Soon the three men come across three beauties Madhuri (Riya Sen), Rekha (Aarti Chhabria) and Dimple (Sophie Choudry). It is not long before they are tempted by them. However unfortunately for them Lucky Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) is out to make hell for them and expose them to their unassuming wives.

The other best role played by Sanjay Dutt besides Munna Bhai were in the movies Rughu Bhai(Vaastav) and in KhalNayak.
