Well, Kabir! KIDNAP fails to grip you and that is its biggest flaw. At the box-office, KIDNAP being teen sensation Imran Khan's immediate release after the blockbuster hit JAANE TU… YA JAANE NA would ensure a strong opening weekend, but the poor merits are sure to take a toll once the initial euphoria subsides. Disappointing!

KIDNAP belongs to Imran Khan. He is good and he does his role very well and also looked gorgeous as a kidnaper and a serious boy. He carries the cold look effortlessly. Sanjay Dutt looks disinterested, as if he is about to break into a yawn. Minissha Lamba is miscast. She doesn't look like a 17-year-old in the first place. Also, the generous dose of skin show doesn't gel with someone who's held captive. Vidya Malvade is efficient. Reema Lagoo is a mere prop. Rahul Dev's character looks forced.

Sanjay Gadhvi's KIDNAP is all about a game played by the kidnapper, Kabir (Imran Khan), and Vikrant Raina (Sanjay Dutt). He has a strained relationship with his wife and is living aboard seperately from the past several years. Sonia (Minissha Lamba) misses a father in her life and this often leads to arguements with her mom. On Christmas, Sonia is kidnapped by Kabir (Imraan Khan). The name of the kidnapper, the location and the reason is unknown!

Overall, Kidnap disappoints. If well-performed action sequences, skin show in abundance and great locales is what you wish to see, Kidnap is worth a watch.

Well Kabir, you can say it is a movie only for Imran Khan fans.

He has done a great job in a boring movie.

The only silver lining in the movie is Imran Khan, who, armed with his mysterious screen presence, holds you to your seat for most part of the film. But then, every silver lining has a dark cloud nearby.

Imran Khan holds the film together by rising above the shoddy script solely by dint of his performance. Though he doesn’t do anything stellar, there’s something about him that catches your eye whenever he is on the screen.

Sanjay Gadhvi 's direction is average.
Sanjay Gadhvi doesn’t rely so much on logic as on convenience.

Sanjay dutt has over acted in the movie.
Minissha has done a fair job although she has shown more skin than acting.

The movie’s music is average and the item by Sophie Choudhary or the beach song by Minissha fails to lift your spirits.

Over all a one time watchable movie only because of Imran.
