Well,
Drona Goldie Behl’s attempt at making a fantasy adventure film was not accepted kindly by film critics. The screenplay was certainly sketchy in places. And what really nailed the coffin were the songs. It broke the web of fantasy that was being created. Everytime I entered the world of Drona, there would be a song to break the illusion. And therein lies the failure of such a film. I think its a time wast film.

Well, Kabir! DRONA lacks soul. At the box-office, the publicity blitzkrieg might ensure good returns in its opening 4-day weekend, but the cracks should start appearing sooner than expected, since the film fails to keep you hooked. Its fall is imminent!
DRONA is a big film in all respects -- big stars, big canvas, big expenditure on SFX, big ad spends, big expectations. Sadly, it's a big, big, big letdown as well.

It is another Superhero movie in bollywood after KRISH, but the makers have been maintaining all along that it's not about a superhero. But the fact is, it is. In DRONA, the protagonist does everything that a superhero does. But it can’t be succeed as like Krish, Drona is a dull in almost every field.

I have seen the movie Drona. In this movie Abhishek Bachchan is playing the role of Drona.

Abhishek the superhero – Indiana Drones, doesn’t embark on any trivial mission like the search for the Holy Grail. Drona fights to save nothing less than the entire srishti.

Starring: Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Kay Kay Menon, Jaya Bachchan.

Goldie Behl who last directed Abhishek Bachchan in the box-office dud Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai is back with a superhero movie titled Drona. “Drona” is a feeling not quite overpowering but purposely underplayed and designed to bring the till-now-barred-in-Bollywood “Lord Of The Rings” genre to our table. As far as super-heroes go, the one that Abhishek plays in “Drona” is somewhat unique. Watch “Drona” for Abhishek’s reined-in performance as a reluctant hero.

Well , I dont think Drona has fulfilled the hype created before the release of the movie.

It is not a must watch movie.

In my opinion It would be second flop after "Bus Itna Sa Khwab hai" of the jobi Abhishek and Goldy Bhel.

The main problem with the movie is direction.

Goldy Behl has done a poor job as a director.

He needed someone to assist him.

Acting wise also , no one has done anything good.

Kay Kay has given one of his worst performance in the mivie.

It is a waste of an actor of the calibre of Kay Kay.

Abhishek is total mismatch as a Super Hero.

Again it's only Priyanka who stands out of them all and that too only due to her sensuality and glamorous look. Jaya Bachchan has a very small role.

Music of the movie is just unbearable.

The only thing that stands out in Drona is the brilliant special effects, which are way ahead of Bollywood standards.

Over all a forgettable movie for Abhishek.
