Definitely it is important,that the ideal role of the husband after marriage is to love wife. It is because feelings usually rise and fall, come and go. There may be times that you are upset or you have hurt the person you love. Instances like this may happen, but it does not mean you have to give up easily. Actually, this is the best time that love calls for your attention.

Because you love your partner, chances are you will learn to forgive, mend, encourage, cherish and improve your marriage into the better. It is not that everything will always be easy and simple. There will be times that those good feeling is just around the corner and sometimes they are left unrecognized. However, your continuous commitment to love as you have promised will make sure that the feeling will come up always.

Love must be a commitment. Most marriages failed because one of the couple falls in love to someone else. This is because of what people call the “feelings” and lust. The feelings will always change.

Fulfill every need (physically and mentally) of wife (as far possible) and give her support in every phase of life. But I don’t mean to obey everything without any judgment. Sometime he has to prevent her if he feels that there is something wrong. He should keep in notice about every events happening with his family and wife. He should know the need of his wife and fulfill it before asking for it. He should discuss or tell everything about what’s going on with him, if he thinks that it won’t harm her.

A girl after marriage leaves her home, parents, relatives, friends & steps in her new home where her best friend, philosopher & guide is none other than her husband. He is the one who knows the nature & temperament of his own parents & family as well as his newly wedded wife. Husband is the real bridge between his wife & his family specially own parents. So he should be very intellectual, clever & witty to handle all crucial matters of his own family. He should be very caring, understanding, cozy & sensible towards his wife & parents both. He should act in such a way that the wife also feels comfortable & cool & on the other hand his parents & other family members should not be in a dis-satisfied state. Similary the wife should play her role in the perfect way to make both ends meet.

A Husband after marriage needs to be and should become a caring friend, companion in love, joy & sorrow and of course a helpmate to his wife. In other way, it can be identical to that of the role of a woman after marriage.

The roles of husband and wife are the same. There are no different set of rules for them both. Both have to be understanding, helping, loving and caring. Be more like friends than spouse. Shoulder equal responsibilities. In every situation, try to put your self in your better half's situation. behave with each other the way you want the other person to behave with you.
