The role of the sex education at school level to make aware about the sex to the students and it good and bad effects if by any chance they had the sex with someone else. It is not only to teach the intercourse but it is to teach the side effect or bad effect if they do not take the safety measure or precaution while doing the intercourse.

At school level only the basics of sex may be taught. Intercourse is not to be discussed there.

I don't think that is the aim. A real aim could be to let the young boys and girls know the scientific process of reproduction. Another function will be to make them aware of the dangers of approaching sexual activities when they are young. They could be also made to realize the changing sexual behaviour in a human's body. So many positives can be taken from this education, but since it has not been implemented fully, it will be too early to gauge its role.

No it doest only teach abt intercourse, it teaches abt the possible sexually transmitable diseases.
the results of early age sex.
the results of sexual assualtion by elder people on young kids.
rape.
get the knowldge of sex gives a better uderstanding and a better thought abt the subject.

the role of sex education in schools is t impart the knowledge of the after effects of sex in their age. children when they mature they tend t do some mistakes which they shud not do. hence if they r imparted this knowledge they will understand its effects

AND IT IS NOT ONLY OF INTERCOURSE THERE ARE SO MANY DIVISIONS IN SEX INTERCOURSE ONE PART OF IT SO ACCORDING TO MY VIEW IT IS QUITE REQUIRED.

Sex education is not about teaching intercourse but to guide you when you have sex and what should be the attitude to sex. Sex is as natural an act as eating, sleeping and drinking. There is nothing shameful about it. The books on Public Administration has incorporated sex as the basic necessity of human existence at par with food, cloth & shelter.
