Three years is not something that one remembers! There are relations that get damaged and broken even after 10-15 years of marriage and staying together. See, the age of a relation is not measured by mathematics, but by the seriousness of both people to keep it intact.

In case he is not interested, you also don't show the interest in him. Sometimes, the sudden aloofness from the lady disturbs the guy and he tries to get back. Or in case that never happens, you should be prepared for the worst. No love is individualistic, it has to happen from both sides.

I am sure you understand that and will think about the same with a cooler head and decide on the next course of action.
