Every people say I am fool because I refuse a proposal for marriage, I refuse because her parents show me the money. I am against the dowry system. ?

I don't think you have done any mistake, there are so many boys like you who does not want to be under some one by accepting the money from Girls father in form of dowry. I like to congratulate for such a great thing you have done. Bravo, keep it up. This is a sort of lesson to Girl Parent and boys who are in favour of dowry

Fantastic, my hero. Allow me to applaud you for the simple reason that not many young men can't have this guts to disallow marriage just for the sake of money. The fact that you did it is superb, and my deepest regards to your honourable life.

Keep doing the good work, and I suppose parents of would-be-brides will be more careful as girls will be when they approach the potential groom. Money does not define marriage, love does!

Almost all people in India accept dowry in marriage. EVen if the boy or his parents dont keep demands the girls parents offer money or other things , Indirectly the girls are sold for ransom.I am happy you are against such system. For people it is folly and think you are fool. You should not refuse laxmi coming to you. Keep up annuj God bless your greatness.

If you like the girl, tell the parents (your parents more importantly) that you would prefer the girl's parents to put the money in the girl's name and do the marriage in a simple way.

If you have really refused the marriage proposal for offering dowry by the parents of the girl, I appreciate your vision. You have a great and real heart. You are not fool; rather you are wise.

But my dear friend, the money was shown by the parents of the girl; not by the girl herself. What was the wrong with the girl if she was otherwise she was good, marriageable and matching for you?

According to me, if the girl was otherwise acceptable, you should have married her refusing the dowry.
If without dowry you would have married the girl, your image at your in-laws house would have been very high. And your wife could have prouder of you.
