In General, fruits are very good for health irrespective of whether dry or fresh. Fruits are good source of nutrition. These are devoid of cholesterol. Another important fact is that fruits are good source of potassium which controlls blood pressure. Fruits are also good source of calcium and vitamin.
In dry fruits, one extra advantage is there. That is there is very less chance of food poisoning. In case of fresh fruit, if you keep cut fruits for long time, different bacteria may grow on these. In case of dry fruits, this possibility is very less.
