dear rahul,
India claims the entire erstwhile Dogra princely state of Jammu and Kashmir and presently administers approximately half the region including most of Jammu, Kashmir Valley, Ladakh and the Siachen Glacier. India's claim is contested by Pakistan which controls a third of Kashmir, mainly Azad Kashmir and the northern areas of Gilgit and Baltistan. The Kashmiri region under Chinese control is known as Aksai Chin. In addition, China also controls the Trans-Karakoram Tract, also known as the Shaksam Valley, that was ceded to it by Pakistan in 1963.This dispute should not be
seen as question of domination of said state between three countries but it
has a broader context factually set apart jammu region and ladakh region where Muslims are in minority. Kashmir region is inhabited by Muslim mostly as most of other religious communities fled from the valley after
the outbreak of militancy after 1989 this was the time when the activities
of separatist group backed by Pakistan were at optimum mark our central government was acting like mute at that time it allowed these separatist groups to flourished and carry on their propaganda and as we all have seen in history that whenever there was propaganda of Islam in danger or
of jihad all Muslims have followed it they do not allow accept other religions other than Islam this is primary reason for unrest in Kashmir
secondarily right from partition our own leaders are were not able
to clarify there stand on the Kashmir e.g pt Nehru said in UN assembly
of having referendum in Kashmir despite of having experience of N.W.F.P .than if Kashmir was integral part India than why was article 370 was implemented in Kashmir .even militants were pardoned and were enrolled in Indian armed forces there are many more steps which were taken which boosted the moral separatist .
