President of India is sloe commander in India. He can give order on advice of Prime Minister of India.

president,but he cant order without suggestion of primminister.he ha veto power but any indian president never use it.

dear sorabh ,
conventionally in India all the orders , instructions and appointments in India are given by president but on the advice of council of ministers in other words army follows the order of president but draft of order would be prepare and passed by council of ministers .and then copy of the same is send to president office in peace time.
