For the purpose of education and employment, the Government has made reservation upto 3 per cent for handicapped perople. The reservation may also extended for promotion to higher posts.

The Government is giving concession for them in railway pass. The Government provide seats for them in buses near the entrance. The Government (in most of the States) is giving pension ranging from 500 to 2000 rupees depending upon the percentage of their disabilities. Apart from them, some State Government are providing some kilograms of rice at free of costs for every month. For the purpose of marriage, the Government is providing gift Cheques to a certain rupees. Some State Government are giving them petrol at concessional rates for some litres to ride three wheeled motor cycle. They need not stand in queues in worship at temples, banks, railway stations etc.
