Depending on what you are being summoned for, either summons will be reissued or non bailable warrant will be issued in your name.

No. But then.........if a small part of judiciary were corrupt that is a blot on the entire judicairy. to a meeting, or they need you for Shanti Samiti or something, or they need a donation or something or if it is an invitation, you are welcome to ignore them. But if it is a summon or a letter pertaining to a case or investigation or traffic related; i.e. if the letter is related to any matter pertaining to law, please do not ignore. It might finally culminate into your arrest warrant!
