Stridhan is all the articles, ornament, etc given to the bride at the time of marriage by her family or in laws family. In addition any thing given to her after marriage is also catagorised as stridhan.There is no formal Act to describe stridhan.To best my knowledge, in case of section 131a, there should not be requirement of stridhan.
