what are the provisions which are applicable in case of animal cruelty and illegal trade in endangered species in India?

You may lodge complaint to the nearest police station for animal cruelty and illegal trade in endangered species. They will take penal action which include fine or imrpisonment or both. But, it is difficult to prove cruelty to animal. For illegal trade, the animals will be seized and may be handed over to the Forest Department.

"The Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act" takes care of abused Animals; The Wild life Protection Act, takes care of the Endangered species and also wild animals.

see dear acts of cruelty against are The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act,1960 ,The Prevention Of Cruelty To Draught And Pack Animals Rules,1965 ;The Transport of Animals Rules,1978 ;The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals( Slaughter House) Rules,2001 ;The Experiments On Animals(Control And Supervision) Rules,1968 ; all endangered and native species are covered by wild life act 1972.
