The pro rated retirement benefits under CCS (Pension) Rules shall be given only in case a central government department is converted into an autonomous organization or public sector undertakings. In that case, the employee shall be eligible for pro rata pension if he had completed 10 years of service. In all other cases, one should complete 20 years to get pension.
The pension for 10 years shall be applicable, if at the time of actual retirement you had served 10 years of service ( not Voluntary retirement).
The pension for 10 years shall be applicable under Fundamental Rule, if you had completed 10 years of service and your age is more than 55 years in both the case of retirement or voluntary retirement from service.
