It they give you receipt, then there is a record and it should be accountable for audit. If they did not give you receipt, it will go to their pocket and there is no proof on the side of income tax department to tax them.

Is there any proper account for these? A large amount of donations goes to the pockets of ministers, the trustees running trusts. The Finance Minstry should make it compulsory to have receipts issued to the donors and proper audit of these institutions. It is high time that proper action to be taken by the authorities.

Donations should always be accounted for and receipt for the same should be given . For income tax purpose donations received should be recorded. Best use of donations taken by institutions naturally should be pubic welfare.

they give receipt.but there will be no record in the institution.50% they use for improving the institution and 50% the owner eats.
