No if u stay with him it is not true. If u were staying apart and there was no info about him or no contact after 7yrs u can file a suit taht he is dead and the court will grant that the marriage is void.

No, it is not true that if you do not stay with your husband for more than 5 years, your marriage would get null and void. There is no rule governing such a kind annulment of marriage.
But, if you do not reside with your husband without any valuable reason, your husband may ask for divorce before Court. In such case, the Court may direct you to live with your husband. It is called restitution of conjugal rights. But, even after the court order, if you do not live with your husband, the Court may pass order for divorce on further application from you husband.

no not all staying together or living together does not mean anything in eyes of law a marriage is said to be null and void when court of law declare that by issuing a decree .

Rukku, Ji, This is dependes on ur husbands love. if you are no staty with your husband more that 5 year. this is very bad. i also say u ur marriage gets null and void. marriage for live with each other. ur are very nice. now u try to stay with ur husband. some changes also become in your husband.
