No, it is not true that if you do not stay with your husband for more than 5 years, your marriage would get null and void. There is no rule governing such a kind annulment of marriage.
But, if you do not reside with your husband without any valuable reason, your husband may ask for divorce before Court. In such case, the Court may direct you to live with your husband. It is called restitution of conjugal rights. But, even after the court order, if you do not live with your husband, the Court may pass order for divorce on further application from you husband.
