for six months from date of issue....The validity of a cheque is only 6 months. You need to request for a revalidation or a fresh cheque. You cheque has already become stale....normally checks are valid for 6no you cant cash it, now in these days the check validity if up to only three months from the date of issue. you must extend the date of check, by whom you received it....No, as cheques are valid
