Of course you can be the Director of Private Limited company. First of all you have to registered with the Regional Registrar Office at your jurisdiction. It will be better to you to liasion professional Chartered Accountant they will defenately assist you for formation of Company as per Companies Act, 1956

as per companies act 1956 no minor can be a director of a company. one should be major and must not be insane. he should work for the benefit of the company.

no a minor can not be a director in a company under the indian companies act, 1956.A qualified person who have a responce against the conpany will be a major against company act 1956.

a person can't become a director of a company because it has been specified in the company act for becoming a director a person should have attained the age of 18 according to the indian consititution.
