A female should complete 21 years to enter into a valid Marriage.The Marriage can be done only as a Hindu or as a Christian and seperate laws are on the subject;it is better for you to consult a lawyer of experience in Marriage laws.

hi sikha u r 20 years old nd bf also the same age...first u think of the decision...that u really want to marry with a guy with the age of 20 , then talk to pandit of arya samaj mandir ...in delhi.. the canaught place their is a mandir of arya samaj near to hanumaan mandir...near janpath...u can talk and take decisions...and u shud apply in court also for the marriage ...and give the address of some of ur friends to take the papers from court of marriage date ..and certificate...coz court marriage take time about 1 months...then u can be secure from both ligally and socially...u shud take some money for the arya samaj marriage process...and some of ur friends lady n gents both... who are responsible....ok

and dont forget to give me the marriage party ...hhehhehe.h.e

The marriageable age for men and women are different under current Indian law but now India’s law department is seriously considering making legitimate age of both to equal level to 18 year. but under current law marriageable age for female is 18 years and for male is 21 years according to section three of The Child Marriage Restraint Act, 1929 so dear wait for one year than you have legal option .

Hi Shikha

You are Lucky. You are in love and he also loves you. In fact you are luckiest.

Shikha I would like to suggest you. Please Please don't take any decision which will hurt your or his parents.

You are parents will get hurt if you don't inform or without their conscent and get married. This could ruin your relation with your parents as well as his parents. Without elders blessing it will be difficult to live happy life.

Shikha I can understand why yo don't want to tell your parents. But if you are in true love you must express it to your parents and conviece them. They will happily accept your decision. If you two take them into confidence.

Shikha donot forget even tomarrow you will also be parents and then you don't expect this kind of thing to happen with you.

Shikha before you take decision just put youselves into your parents shoe then think and take a decision.

It is difficult experince what you are in to?

Honestly speaking while reading you will scold me many times and you will say stupid suggestion and comments, unwanted and blalla.

But still ask you to think twice thrice before you take any decision
