What does Curriculum Vitae mean?  

The resume or bio-data that briefly describes the personal information, educational qualification and job experience is referred to as curriculum vitae (CV). This word, in Latin, means "course of life". This is probably the first document that any employer requires from a prospective job-seeker to learn about the person interested in looking for a job or a job change.

Curriculum Vitae First Part
The first part of Curriculum Vitae is personal information (name, date of birth, address, phone number (mobile), e-mail, possibly number of children).
Curriculum Vitae Second Part
The second group of information is education and courses (I recommend to write education chronologically downwardly or ascending first and than courses and trainings, which are importing for work position, that candidate want to get.

Curriculum Vitae Third Group Information
The third group is practices, work experiences in chronologically sequence, name of firm, from-to, position and jobsheet (5-10 words).

Curriculum Vitae Last Part
The fourth group is next information about knowledge of languages, work with PC, driving licence, possibly hobby and interest

This is also called bio data. In this paper a person gives his eligiblity details to the company about him and about his career and he also gives his hobby and extra caricular details to the employer.

It is Latin for Course of Life....usually a short narrative in lieu of a resume
