You have to work in police first, then later they will post you to CBI. you have to work hard and should get carrier record.

u had not told in which streaming u r doing BE. i hope u know what is BI Stands for. its main purpose is to conduct inquiry into the serious allegations. so first of all u menitoned in which stream u r doing ur BE

To start a carer in CBI, SSC is the only medium to join CBI. Besides that officers from state police gets deputation to join CBI. If you appear in Civil services Exam conducted by UPSC and manage to succeed and get IPS you can join CBI at a higher level.
If you pass groupt three exam you will get police jobs also.
