CTC or cost to the company is the total emoluments that you are entitled as part of your compensation towards the company. It includes all money that the company spends on a personnel, and requires that the same be understood by the recruit.
Most CTC is made of Basic salary, HR allowance, variable pay, medical and all perks including the contribution to superannuation and provident fund etc. In short, the complete money that is contributed by the company for you.
