Definitely love marriage.. but the big question to ask is how come arranged marriage that still exist in certain part of the world seem to work better and forever, although they hardly know each other..., and us, intelligent civilized and educated people have the higher divorce rate although it was based on love friendship, soul mate and mutual knowledge...
The answer is simple.. arranged or love is not the secret of success.. In my opinion we are missing a big piece... we have no contentment we always want more, it is always green on the other side, and high expectation is the 2nd thing, we think because she is our friend and our soulmate, she has to think 100% LIKE us, remember in a marriage you can always disagree, on many things... but keep the basis... and the values.. man, stay a man.. keep your responsibilities as a man and women don't get lost in today sexual discrimination and confuse your "Rights" with your "role as a women", you still need to be feminine loving and charming, you are still the sweet half even in 2008 when women want to be like men... and men you are the protector, the man who should die for your wife and your kids, stand in the front line of fire and remember you need her behind you to give you love and meaning to your life,
today people think that if a man is a king, that makes the women a slave.. No the man is a king the women is a queen.....
good luck.. love is a big secret to keep marriage going in hard moments... arranged or love is not the point .. real love get stronger AFTER MARRIAGE when you are in the real day today world, when you are sick old poor, when you lose your hair you are curved lose your teeth, and your wife has no make up, and she gets out of the shower with her hair undone.. that is when you will know if you really love each other.
