If someone unknown becomes your friend, the longevity of that friendship is also unknown. It may last or it may not.
Shantanu, you are new member to Ibibo.
Yes, Ibibo is a platform where you can have friends and also can make friendship. But that does not mean that girls are readily available here and would immediately response to your advertisement-like question and become your friends. If at all, some of them become your friends also, those friendships would be transitory. Because all of you are unknown to each others.
Before making friendship, you must know what friendship is. Friendship means a relation between two. Both should be known intimately to each other. Both of them are with similar interests, mutual respect. Therefore, a strong attachment grows between the two. True friend never expects any thing in return.
In true friendship, there are feelings, caring and concern, loyalty, love, confidence on each other. In friendship, trust is the vital element. Without trust, true friendship cannot last long. When trust is lost, every thing lost.
Moreover, girls are selective. To become a friend with a boy, a girl would first see that she can have confidence, security and trust on him. She would confirm and satisfied with all those traits in a boy with whom she can think of making friendship.
In view of this, it is found that your profile is hidden, rather partial. And hence, no body is able to know about you.
In spite of this, I hope, you should get a friend. That too a good girl friend. But my suggestion to you, is that since you are a new member, you continue for some time in this forum. See for yourself the realities and feasibilities of it. This is also a platform of multifarious activities like questions, answers, blogging, opinion making etc. Involve in those activities yourself. And those activities of yours would attract other members including girls towards you. Hopefully, thereafter, girls would volunteer to offer friendship to you. Then you would have your option for choice and then select the best one. You need not bother much now.
