not to cause any harm by way of action,speech or sign to anybody .That includes the beasts as well the vegetables....The concept of ahimsa in Hinduism refers to the idea of harmlessness, non-injury, non to reduce harm to all living creatures. The concept of Ahins&227; is meant to be practiced by: thought - not having thoughts of ill-will towards others word - not using speech to slander or malign others
