There will not be any problem if the Gerusil MPS tablet is swallowed and there is no need to worry since the tablet will get melted in the stomach and control acidity.

Gelusil will not dissolved. It will pass out in motion. It has to be chewed. Put a gelusil in a glass of water and see if it dissolves.
