bipolar disorder is a psychological disorder! in this the patient has the mood swings for the two sides that that severe mania and suddenly severe depression. this is now becoming common nowadays as the stress and busy life making it soo!
there are no immediate remedies for this disease! but can use ant depressants constantly with the advice of a qualified psychiatrist ! he would prescribe the dose and shedule on examining the condition of the patient! but one have to remember that these drugs should not be discontinued anyway until the full course is completed!

but it can be effectively treated.

Bipolar disorder is not a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders defined by the presence of one or more episodes of abnormally elevated mood, clinically referred to as mania. Individuals who experience manic episodes also commonly experience depressive episodes or symptoms, or mixed episodes in which features of both mania and depression are present at the same time. These episodes are normally separated by periods of normal mood, but in some patients, depression and mania may rapidly alternate, known as rapid cycling.
