He should get his braces after all his baby teeth fallen out and his permanent teeth have grown in because if you do it before his teeth may change as he looses and gains teeth and screw up his teeth again an need braces twice.

it depends on your mouth but usally when your 12 year old molars are errupte through is when an orthodontist usally like to start making plans for braces.
