Loose motions can affect you for as long as a couple of days to even more than two weeks. It happens when you eat food that has not been washed or cooked properly or has been contaminated.
Often people follow high fibre diets to lose weight. The sudden increase of roughage may lead to diarrhoea.
In case of loose motions have pomegranate juice, stewed apples, white rice and curd, potatoes, sago, moong dal. Eat only soft cooked food without chillies.
Eating small and frequent meals will be easier for your stomach to digest. Avoid leafy vegetables and milk.
Try and find out the cause of it. Sometimes it could be due to an allergic reaction. So you will know what food to avoid.
There are no specific foods that cause diarrhoea. Just avoid eating out for long periods of time. Also, wash and cook the food well.
If you are on a weight-loss program, increase the fibre content in your diet gradually.
