seizures can be potentially dangerous if left untreated and can damage brain and related organs in addition to the secondary injuries that the patient can suffer during an episode of seizure, the patients of generalized seizures have been know to attend to their daily chores routinely without any discomfort but you need to be care ful while letting them handle cooking, driving, heights, stairs etc which might require an external support during the time remember to keep your doctor handy for advice

Yes he can live normal life . First you should consult with neurophysician , I think he suggest for C.T. scan and EEG investigation it will be helpful for clearify the diagnosis.
