Hi,
Knowing how to ride a bicycle definitely helps when you're learning how to drive a motorbike or a car or any other vehicle as it gives you a sense of direction and steering. But then it can only do so much.
A person who does not know to ride a bicycle, will probably just take a little longer to get that sense of direction.
Do keep in mind that you are not only learning to steer, you also have to learn to keep your eyes, ears open and co-ordinate with the gear system (for a geared vehicle).
The most important thing to remember, however when you're learning to drive a motorbike or any other vehicle is to how to contend with the traffic. You're driving not just for yourself, but for the other person also.
