If you put oil in cold area it will become solid and it you put same in hot area it flows easily.
So same concept is used here warm water makes oils in your body in liquid form and makes them to move freely and fastly. so digestion will be good.

Yes Warm water is helpful in digestion.The temperature (warm) is key because it soothes and relaxes all the organs of digestion as it works its way down. And water is definitely the mildest, least invasive way to flush and hydrate to aid in elimination of accumulated toxins and debris in the digestive tract.
Take a bit of lemon juice with a dash of salt 15 minutes before meals. It is helpful to immediate relief for digestion.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and may lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
