Pimples are, small solid round tumer like thing,(not to suspect any thing)coming out of the skin specially on the face soft skin.Some times,if not taken care of, it becomes inflamatory.It is generally found more on girls,with the onset of puberty.(from age 12-13 onwards)It is found more on both the cheeks and the girls getting worried over,use all sorts of creams available in the market and gets aggrevated.It is found more on girls and boys having oily skins. Not to worry more about it.Always keep the face clean.Donot use soaps with more caustic contents.Use glycerine soap or use moong dal powder to clean the face.Have vegetables and fruits containing more Vitamin A. It will gradually go off with the passing of time.
Acne are different from Pimples.It starts when the sebaceous glands over produce oil,or sebum,secreted through the pores.Sebum carries the dead cell debris away with it,but its over production blocks the pores with a sticky mass of oil and dead cells..Then the bacteria present in the skin convert the mass in to compounds that irritate and rupture small glands,causing inflamation and pustules.(almost like pimples)
The most common causes are emotional stress and the incresed activity of sex harmones,or androgens.These hormones stimulates the oil glands-typically on the face,shoulders,back and chest-and are active during puberty.Boys are more prone to acne,than girls because they have higher androgen levels,but many girls also suffer usually in the week before their period.
Researchers found that many acne sufferers are deficient in Zinc.While burgers and chicken nuggets contain plenty of this mineral,healthier sources are shellfish,nuts,lean meat,and skinless poultry.Yoghurt and skimmed milk also supply zinc in smaller amounts.
Vitamin A is also required to maintain a healthy skin.It is abandant in liver and eggs,while beta carotene,which body converts to vitamin A is found in dark green or orange vegetables such as spinach and carrots,and in orange fruits,including apricots,and mangoes.
People with acne should ensure that their diet contains plenty of polyunsaturated fats,which have also been claimed to counteract acne.
Also Vitamin E,found in wheatgerm,eggs,and cold-pressed vegetable oils ,helps to heal the skin.
CARE!!!!Cut down ,Chocolate,sweets,highly salted snacks,chips,crisps and all junk foods. Also avoid soft drinks with added sugar.
