well,The best answer would be for you to at least drink an instant meal (like Ensure), as skipping meals slows your metabolism, messes up your blood sugar levels, and (obviously) can cause gastric upset. If you cannot, and/or you are still having gastric pains there are two options, both prescription but very good.
The first would be to try switching to a prescription acid inhibitor, like Nexium. Nexium helps to stop "acid stomach", acid reflux, and helps your stomach and esophagus to heal the damage caused by the acid build up.
The second option is a medication that treats actual gastric cramps. If your stomach pain is caused by cramping and not acid, talk to your doctor about Dicyclomine. Dicyclomine is a medication with very few side effects that can be taken up to four times a day to treat gastric cramps. I have been hospitalized because of gastric cramps (that eventually caused severe vomiting, etc.), and the Dicyclomine cured it. I have no side effects from it, and whenever I have stomach or intestinal cramps, I take it, and they are gone within an hour.
If you are looking for something non-prescription, head to the herbalism section. Ginger capsules or peppermint oil capsules are both soothing to the stomach and can help to treat acid problems, cramping, nausea, etc. I find ginger to be more helpful than peppermint oil, but peppermint oil can also help with tension headaches. Make sure to let your doctor know if you are taking any supplements, such as these; however I have never had a problem taking both ginger and the prescription medications previously mentioned.
I hope some of this helps!
