You can purchase Triphala powder and tablets from any chemist shop across India. Triphala is not a cure for arthritis but it is given to patients suffering from constipation. For arthritis, I would suggest that you must eat good amount of vegetables, salad, fresh fruits, dried fruits, and drink fruit juices, and plenty of water. Add pulses and dried beans to your diet to get good amount of protein. Avoid taking non-vegetarian, oily and spicy junk food, chocolates, ice creams, sweets, milk products, alcohol beverages, tobacco products and aerated cold drinks as these stuffs are not good for health and accumulate toxins in the body. Correct your bowel movements in case you are constipated. You must go for brisk walk daily to keep your joints mobile and must sleep well for eight hours.

The following herbal medicines are suggested for arthritis:
