all the religions say god is inside you. people believe this but very few actually realise what it means . our greatest enemy is our own mind(mann). the mind is what keeps us tied down to maya or creation. the more we listen to our mind or mann the more deeply we get tied down in maya . to see god you must overcome your mann. this is what bhagwan shri krishna tells to arjun when he goes to fight against his own brothers. to see god you must conquer your mann. in islam this is called jihaad or the war against evil . when you have conquered the evil which is none else than your own mind , your own ego , your own self , then you are ready to see the real form of allah or god or parmatma.
