ajinomotto((chin ese salt) is used in chinese dishes like soups,chillichicekn,chicken manchurian,chinese fried rice etc...it seems that this substance arouse our taste buds so the curry becomes so tasty...for all the curries u r supposed to add a PINCH of it. but ajinomotto is NOT at all good for health since it is believed to contain cancerous substance..... it is actually monosodium glutamate.i read that 1)it can trigger migraine headaches in some people. 2)"The Chinese restaurant syndrome", or flushing and palpitation of the heart, has been traced to excessive use of monosodium glutamate as a seasoning.
