Hi,Indian Railway Online Ticket booking is under the website IRCTC. The only thing that we feel awkward about this site is the large number of types of waiting lists in the site. If you are booking, you cannot travel in the train. But if the waiting list ticket is directly booked from some railway station ticket counter you can travel but no particular seat will be given to you if no vacant seat

simply mean that the zonal railway is planning to run an additional trains as specials to clear the rush later. When the maximum wait list number defined for a train is reached for a particular daysW/L means that you are in waiting list No.1 and your seat is not confirmed yet! Hi,The meaning of RLGN and W/L on the train ticket:Remote Location General waiting List. Chances of confirmation is fifty fifty. Better book tickets from the source station that is WL where chances of confirmation is high. This is also called Pooled Quota....Hi,RLGN means Remote Location General Waitlist.
