How to make coffee?

1/3 cup ground coffee (medium-coarse grind is best)
Milk (optional).

1. In a jar, stir together coffee and 1 1/2 cups water. Cover and let rest at room temperature overnight or 12 hours.

2. Strain twice through a coffee filter, a fine-mesh sieve or a sieve lined with cheesecloth. In a tall glass filled with ice, mix equal parts coffee concentrate and water, or to taste. If desired, add milk.

* 1 cup black walnut, toasted, chopped, divided (about 4 ounces, any kind of walnuts will do)
* 1 1/4 cups sugar, divided
* 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
* 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup cocoa (Dutch process is best)
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
* 3 large eggs
* 1 large egg yolk
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3/4 cup buttermilk (add more by teaspoons if needed)

COFFEE-MASCARPONE CREAM

* 4 1/2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
* 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1 tablespoon water
* 1 cup chilled heavy whipping cream
* 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
* 1/2 cup powdered sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3/4 cup about 3 ounces black walnut, toasted, chopped
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1 pinch salt

Position rack in center of oven and preheat to 350°F.

Butter and flour two 9-inch-diameter cake pans with 1 1/2-inch-high sides.

Blend 1/2 cup walnuts, 1 tablespoon sugar, and espresso in processor until nuts are finely ground.

Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl to blend. Using electric mixer, beat butter in large bowl until smooth.

Gradually add remaining sugar (1 1/4 cups minus 1 tablespoon), beating until fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, then egg yolk. Add ground walnut mixture and vanilla; beat to blend.

Reduce mixer speed to low and beat in dry ingredients in 3 additions alternately with buttermilk in 2 additions.

Add cream, mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla. Beat until filling is thick and smooth (do not overbeat or filling may curdle).

Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp Filter Coffee
• 100 ml Chilled milk
• 2 tsp Hot water
• 1 tsp Sugar
• Ice cubes
How to make Cold Coffee:
• Mix sugar,coffee and hot water.
• Blend it wll till it turns foamy.
• Add chilled milk.
• Keep it in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
• Serve it with ice cubes

well, 1 1/2 cups strong coffee
4 teaspoons chocolate syrup
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1. Put 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup into each cup
2. Mix Whipping cream, 1/4 teaspoon of the cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
3. Whip until you have soft peaks
4. Place the last 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon into coffee, and stir
5. Pour coffee into cups, stir to mix in chocolate syrup
6. Top with whipped cream mixture.

2 tbsp espresso powder
1 tbsp hot water
1 1⁄2 cups sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 1⁄2 cups milk
1/3 cup heavy cream
3 sticks unsalted butter, softened but still cool, cut into small cubes
1 tsp pure vanilla extract


1. Combine espresso powder and hot water. Set aside.
2. Whisk together sugar and flour in medium heavy-bottomed saucepan
3. Add milk and cream and place over medium heat, whisking occasionally until mixture comes to a boil and has thickened, about 20 minutes
4. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix on high speed until cool.
5. Reduce speed to low and add butter; mix until well incorporated. Increase speed to medium-high and mix until frosting is light and fluffy.
6. Add vanilla and espresso mixture and continue mixing until combined
7. If frosting is too soft, chill slightly and then remix to proper consistency. If frosting becomes too firm, place bowl over a pot of simmering water and remix to proper consistency.

2. Use fresh, clean, cold water. Filtered or bottled water works well, but avoid distilled or softened water.
3. The grind chosen must be of the correct fineness for the chosen brewing method.
4. The post must be cleand and warm
5. Make only enough coffee for your immediate needs. The coffee will deteriorate if you keep it too long. Avoid reheating coffee, it just doesn't taste the same.
6. Avoid boiling brewed coffee - it is a sure way to spoil the coffee.
7. Use approximately 70 grams of coffee per litre of water.

How to you clean your coffee maker? In order to be able to keep making good coffee, do this every month:

1. In case you have a built-in filter, take it out.
2. Fill your carafe with water and add two tablespoons of vinegar.
3. Pour the mixture of water and vinegar into the coffee maker and turn on the coffee maker.
4. Let it brew halfway through the brewing cycle and stop the machine for about 15 minutes. Resume the brewing process and let the brewing finish.
5. Now, rinse the carafe out and brew plain water through the system - twice. Rinse out the carafe, and you're now all done!

There are lots of ways to make coffee, but if you don't have quality coffee to start with, you're limited in what you can achieve...

1. Heat a small quantity (¼) cup of water until it boils.
2. Put ½ to 2 teaspoon (depending on how strong you want to have the coffee) of BRU instant coffee in it.
3. Stir the solution and ensure that there are no lumps of coffee.
4. Boil ¾ cup of milk and bring to boil.
5. Add the coffee mixture to the milk and add sugar as per your preference.
6. While the coffee is still boiling hot, pour it into a mug or, preferably, a stainless steel tumbler. While pouring the coffee, slowly raise the saucepan until the coffee falls into the mug/tumbler from a height of about 1 to 1½ ft. This will cause the coffee to froth (like espresso).
7. You can dip a teaspoon in the coffee and lightly spread a few drops of it over the froth in the mug.
8. Serve piping hot.

1. Put water in a kettle and plug it in. If you do not have a kettle, then put water in a pot and put it on the stove. Or use an immersion heater and warm up the water in a separate heat-proof mug. The easiest method is to use a microwave.
2. Take the instant coffee and put about one slightly rounded teaspoon (this may vary based upon how strong one likes their coffee) in a mug.
3. Pour just a teaspoon of the very hot (nearly boiling) water into the mug; only enough to dampen the instant coffee. If you use sugar, put in your sugar granules. Now, with a metal spoon, crush the slurry against the side of the mug. (This technique is called a "Fagin Transform").
4. Stir in the rest of the hot water.
5. Add fresh whole milk, fresh half-and-half, or non-dairy creamer to the coffee if desired. Evaporated milk from a can (undiluted) may also be used.
6. Flavorings such as vanilla extract, cocoa powder, or ground cinnamon may be added at this time. If the coffee has been modified, then stir thoroughly until the extra ingredients have been dissolved.

* All the additives and measurements vary based on the person so be sure that you know what you like!
* The sugar, creamer, and/or flavorings may be measured into the cup before adding the water.
* Store instant coffee in the freezer in an air-tight container in order to maintain that fresh aroma that it has when you first open the new container.
* If desired, you may use artificial sweeteners instead of sugar. However, be aware that aspartame (Nutrasweet/Equal) breaks down with heat, so it loses sweetness over time. This does not occur with saccharin (Sweet N Low) or sucralose (Splenda).
* You might want to add the milk to the mug before adding the boiling water.
