Reebok India, the official trainer and sportswear partner in the Hutch Delhi Half Marathon, is all set to undertake training of running enthusiasts enrolled for the marathon to be held on October 28, 2007. The exclusive training workshop programme designed by Reebok aims to drive the passion for running as a sport and bolster the efforts of Delhiites in the event. The registration for the training workshop has started on August 18, with forms available at select Rbk stores, gyms and HDHM registration desks in Delhi and the National Capital Region
For the first time in India, Reebok’s master trainers, Nisha, Radha and Vinata and fifty of their Reebok Instructor Alliance trainers certified by Ian Ladbrooke, long distance marathon Master Trainer from UK, will take on the challenge to groom participants in long distance running. “Running is fun, and we want people to live it up! As fitness specialists we lay great emphasis on the quality of training for our master trainers in the Reebok Instructor Alliance, and will like to extend the same to all those who participate in the training workshops we conduct”, says Mr. Subhinder Singh Prem, Managing Director, Reebok India.
Special training packages will be offered to corporate establishments, residential societies and individual running enthusiasts preparing them to be fit to run for the Hutch Delhi Half Marathon 2007. Reebok India aspires to reach out to at least 2000 people through this year’s initiative!
The workshops will offer three different packages, depending upon the fitness of an individual, the period and level of training beginners, regulars or professionals in running, ranging from 30 to 60 days. Packages will cost Rs 3,500 for 30 days and Rs 5000 for 60 days.
